What a lovely weekend we had!
What a busy Weekend we had!!
Thanks to all who visited us over the Easter Weekend, for drinks or food or both!
It's always hard to tell how busy the pub is going to be for Easter, and this time I don't think we anticipated just how busy lunches and dinners would be! With the sun shining, we were able to get out and serve tables in the garden as well as in the bar and dining room, and on Saturday we left the front door open to enjoy the warmth!
One of our locals held a surprise 50th Birthday party in the garden complete with Easter Egg hunt for the children which was lovely to see- and after they had all gone, I might have found a few treats left for me!
This is a very short blog post today, but I just wanted to say a big thank you to all my staff who gave up their weekends with friends and family to help out and to work. Some members of the team went above and beyond this week to help out, and I will make sure they are duly rewarded.
Hope everyone had a good weekend, and going back to work isn't too painful!!!
